Carlos Iturralde (Mexico City. 1976)

Inspired by concepts like impossibility and human error, he thinks of his work, which includes instrumental, electronic, improvised and interdisciplinary pieces, as a magnifying glass that provides new context for his every day life sound objects.
Iturralde's work has has been performed in Australia, Europe and North/South America, in museums, halls and festivals like "Carnegie Hall", Festival Cervantino, FIMNME, Mata NY, "Mozart Hall", MUAC, “Muziekgebouw", MATA Festival, Today's Art, by himself and ensembles such as de Ereprijs, ICE, Klang, Klangforum Wien, Liminar, Modelo 62, NEM, Nieuw Ensemble, Slagwerk Den Haag and Vortex among others.
